After 13 years in advertising, six of them at Ogilvy & Mather, working on American Express, Hertz, Avon, Coca-Cola, and AT+T, Leslie Singer started her award-winning advertising design firm that she sold eleven years later to McCann Worldgroup. She launched a branded content division for the IPG holding company and, as Chief Creative Officer, the unit produced custom and strategic content for McCann based clients.

Leslie got her chops working on ABC News, launching AT&T’s first commercial phone system, building Comedy Central’s brand strategy, rebranding Pizza Hut Asia for Yum Brands, building content strategies for General Motors, being part of the launch team for Sirius Satellite Radio to launching Hallmark Magazine and building Customer Relationship Management programs for Coca-Cola Fountain.

In addition, she has run special programs for Marywood College and Andres Bello Universidad in Chile, she is currently faculty at The School of Visual Arts where she teaches the History of Graphic Design, The History of Advertising, and a Designing a Business course, and sits on the Global Fashion Management Advisory Board for FIT. She also was a board member, serving as secretary and then treasurer of the Art Directors Club in NYC.

Leslie has been quoted in Forbes, The New York Post, Fast Company and Fox Business News, and other media outlets, and was a Forbes.com commentator during the Obama campaign. Awards have included: The Obie, The Business Communicators Award, The Art Directors Club, The Broadcasters Designers, The Andrew Kershaw Award, The Good Design Award, and The New York and San Francisco Illustrators Club, to name a few.

Leslie studied Illustration at Massachusetts College of Art and is an Alumni of Parsons The New School where she received her BFA in Communication Design. She is currently getting her MFA in Fine Arts with a concentration in Fashion Contradictions.
